Biography Of Laura Ingraham
Born on June 19, 1964 Laura Anne Ingraham has worn many hats in her highly successful career in the media. She has worked as a Radio host, author, editor, news anchor as well as a speech writer in the Ronald Reagan administration. The Connecticut born media personality attended Glastonbury high school and later Dartmouth College where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree. |

Laura had her first brush with the media while she was a student at Dartmouth. She was a key contributor to Dartmouth Review Newspaper and later served as the chief editor. Ingraham went on to study law at the University of Virginia and briefly worked as a law clerk in the United States Supreme Court. She also worked as a criminal defense attorney for the law firm Skadden, Arps, Meagher and Flom.
Laura Ingraham started her television host career on CBS and MSNBC but without much success. Not one to give up easily she directed her attention to radio where she launched her own show called “The Laura Ingraham Show” The show is heard in over 300 radio stations and also on satellite. However, it later changed its name to Talk Radio Network.
A typical Jack-Of-All-Trades, Laura has written three books. The Hillary Trap which was recently relaunched to coincide with the 2008 election “Shut up and Sing” and the latest one “People and Power” released in 2007.
On the social scene, Laura dated James Reyes a highly successful businessman but they soon called it quit after it emerged that she had breast cancer. A staunch catholic Laura attributes her success to hard work and determination.
