Timeline Of Albert Einstein


Albert Einstein was born in 1879 and in 1884 he received the first amazement of his life as a compass. This was the beginning of his chase to explore the natural world. In 1889, Albert Einstein set his program of self-education and started reading as much as he could.

At the age of 14, his family moved to Italy due to a loss in the business, where he continued his education. In1896, Albert graduated from high school at the age of 17 and enrolled in the Federal Polytechnic at Zurich. In 1901, he got a diploma and Swiss citizenship as well. Albert married Mileva (his Hungarian classmate federal Polytechnic) in 1903. In 1905 he proposed his marvelous theory of relativity. He submitted his paper of doctorate and published a journal about his theory of mass and energy with equation e=mc2.

Albert was keen on applying his theory of relativity on the theory of gravity which he could finally do in 1907. 1911, this was the year when Einstein moved to Prague where he was given a full professorship at the German University. In the same year, he was invited to attend the first physics conference of the world. He was the youngest among all the other participants. Respectively in 1915 and 1917, he completed theory of relativity and published first paper work on cosmology. In 1919, a solar eclipse proved that his theory of relativity works.

During the 1920's he lectured in Europe, America and the Far East and he was awarded Fellowships or Memberships of all the leading scientific academies throughout the world. He was awarded with Nobel Prize in physics for 1921 in the year next year. He gained numerous awards in recognition of his work, including the Copley Medal of the Royal Society of London in 1925, and the Franklin Medal of the Franklin Institute in 1935.

In 1933, he moved to USA and in 1940, and became an American citizen. He wrote his letter to USA president about the possibility of atomic bomb in 1939. Einstein died in 1955 due heart failure, after 6 years of the death of his first wife.
