- 1533- Queen Elizabeth he first was born on September 7, 1533 at Greenwich palace.
- 1536- Elizabeth’s mother Anne Boleyn was accused of adultery and incest. She was executed in the same year and Elizabeth the first was henceforth considered as an illegitimate child.
- 1547- King Henry VIII, Elizabeth’s father died. Queen Elizabeth’s half brother Edward VI became the new kind of England. During his time Elizabeth was living with Katherine Parr, the sixth wife of King Henry and her new husband Thomas Seymour.
- 1548- Elizabeth was forced to leave Katherine’s house because of rumors of her alleged relationship with Seymour.
- 1551- Princess Elizabeth I returns to the court of the young King Edward.
- 1553- Edward VI died and Elizabeth’s half sister Mary I became the descendant to the throne.
- 1558- Queen Mary dies and Queen Elizabeth is given the throne the very same day.
- 1559- On January 13, Elizabeth I is crowned as the Queen of England. She re-established the Protestant Anglican Church.
- 1603- Queen Elizabeth took her last breath on March 24. It is believed that she died of food poisoning.
