The princess did a lot of charitable work for the world. Amidst all the charity that she did her contribution for HIV patients is the most commendable. She was one of the first few high profile celebrities to be photographed with HIV positive patients. This helped a great deal in changing the attitude and the mindset of people towards AIDS patients.
Other than working for AIDS patients, Diana also aggressively campaigned for banning landmines. She advocated the ban on landmines, as landmines were responsible for the death of so many people. Her bountiful acts were not just noted in the United Kingdom but the world over. No wonder, the world even today is all praises for the generous lady.
