1961- Princess Diana was born on 1 July 1961 in Norfolk, England. She was the third child of Edward John Spencer and Frances Spencer.
1967- Diana’s parents got divorced, following which her father won the custody of Diana and his younger brother Charles.
1977- She first met Prince Charles who was then dating her issuer Lady Sarah.
1981- Diana got married to Prince Charles on 29 July 1981. Over 750 million people watched the wedding, which was also known as the “fairytale wedding”.
1982- Prince William- Diana’s first child was born on June 21, 1982.
1984- She gave birth to her second child Prince Henry on Sept. 15, 1984.
1986- This was the time when Diana’s marriage with the prince had begun to fall apart. Diana began an affair with Capt. James Hewitt in late 1996.
1989- Prince Charles was dating Camilla Parker-Bowles. Diana’s marriage finally fell apart. Though there were ample efforts to suppress the whole issue, but the world media sensationalized the whole issue.
1992- Diana’s father died this year because of a heart attack. The Buckingham palace formally announced a formal separation between Diana and Charles on December 9, 1992.
1993- Diana announced her withdrawal from public life on 3 December,1993.
1997- Princess Diana met a tragic end as her car crashed into the thirteenth pillar of the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel.
