Karl Christian Rove was born on December 25, 1950, in Denver, Colorado. He served as the Deputy Chief of Staff in President Bush administration until August 31, 2007 when he resigned from that position. Before joining White House, Karl was a political consultant for Republican candidates. |

Roves biological father left the family when they were still children. He was the second born in a family of five children and he is of Norwegian ancestry. He was born in Denver, Colorado and later raised up in Sparks, Nevada.
His mother’s second husband was Louis Claude Rove Jr. with whom they later divorced with and they later came to realize that the man was a homosexual.
His family moved to Salt Lake City in 1965 when he was joining high school. He attended Olympus High School where he was elected the student council president due to his debating skills.
Rove later joined the University of Utah on scholarship and majored in political science and joined Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Rove also attended University of Texas, George Mason University and University of Maryland-College Park.
He dropped out of college in 1971 and took the position of Executive director of the College Republican National Committee. Roves religious background is a Christian an Episcopal.
Rove has been married twice to Darby Tara Hickson in 1986 and later to Valerie Mather Wainwright in 1976 and they later divorced in 1980 and survived by one child Andrew Madison Rove.
Apart from working as the Deputy White House Chief of Staff in Bush’s administration, rove has also worked as News Week Columnist, Wall Street Journalist and Fox News Contributor.
