Karl Rove the former advisor to President George W Bush is another famous man in the world of Political Science. The man often described as the brains behind the success of Bush however did not complete his degree at the University of Utah but he went on to become one of the most respected political scientist around the world. Barrack Obama, the 44th president of the United State, also studied Political Science at the University of Columbia before he went on to study law at Harvard Law School.

Henry Kissinger the famous secretary of state and former national security advisor in the administration of Richard Nixon is another Political Science guru. He was a shrewd and witty strategist who survived the famous Watergate scandal that brought down President Nixon.
He went on to serve in the administration of Gerald Ford and is credited with successfully ending the Vietnam War. Niccolo Machiavelli is probably the most famous political scientist to have lived. The Italian is famous for a book he wrote called the prince whose main theme is acquiring and retaining power.
