Theatre veterans
In the world of theatre one of the most famous personalities to come from Utah is veteran actress Maude Adams. Her star shone in the 20th century and she took part in many plays until her death in 1953. She acted in plays directed by veteran writer James Barrie and took part in over 300 plays.
Another veteran actor from the state of Utah is Joseph Kearns. He is fondly remembered for the role he played in the highly popular television series Dennis the Menace. His career was cut short by his tragic death in 1962.
