Heather Burge Biography
Born on 11 November, 1976, in Fairfax, California, Heather Burge is a retired basketball player. She has a twin sister by the name Heidi Burge and they are both Palos High School graduates.
The two sisters left their former school to join Palos Verdes because of their father not having enough money to school them there. The sisters played their basketball at the University of Virginia before participating in the European professional leagues. |

First Title :
They later played in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Heather won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in her first basket tournament in New York, MVP is an award given to the best player in a tournament. Because of jealousy for her sister’s achievement, Heather started playing basketball with Brian who was living in Sandy Shores. Heather Burge is 6 feet 5inches tall the same height to her twin sister.
Heather was first a volleyball player before she accidentally discovered that she could also play basketball. Heather Burge played for Sacramento Monarchs in the Women’s National Basketball Association. Sacramento Monarch that Heather played for is in Sacramento, California. Heather featured among the Sacramento players to make it to the Hall of Fame.
Heather and her twin sister were considered as the worlds tallest female twins before Ann and Clare Retch broke their record. The twin sister Heather and Heidi retired from playing basketball due to injuries.
Changing Careers :
Heather is currently a multilingual teacher in Southern California. The life stories and achievements of the Burge sisters in basketball can be found in a movie called the Double Teamed that is a production work of Disney Television.
