Biography Of Rachel Welch
Rachel Welch was born on September 5, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter to Armando Carlos Tejada Urquizo a Bolivian immigrant and Josephine Sarah who was an Irish-American. Her parents gave birth to three children all of which were girls and she is the oldest amongst them.
Rachel’s father was transferred to San Diego, California in 1942 where he moved with his family to stay at La Jolla suburb. It is at this place that Rachel took her dancing lessons and won beauty pageants at her teenage years. |

Scholarship :
Welch attended La Jolla High School (Class of 1958) before she got a theatre scholarship to join San Diego State College. She has been married four times to James Westley Welch (1959-1964), Patrick Curtis (1967-72) and Andre Weinfeld (1980-90). She was later married to Richard Palmer in 1999 and they are currently separated.
Welch is survived by two children Damon James and Tahnee Welch who is also an actress. Welch played d a role in the famous Ramona Pageant an outdoor play at Hemet, California in 1959.
Rachel has written a book on beauty and fitness that was published in 1984. Amongst the awards, that she worn includes the Golden Globe in 1974 for Best Motion Picture Actress. She was also a nominee on Golden Globe in the TV drama Right to Die in 1987 where she was a performer. She also featured in the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard.
