Ralph Carter is an American actor. He was born in 1961 in N.Y City, United States of America. He was born of a musician father of the Stanley Brothers fame. His career took off at a tender age of thirteen in 1974 when he got roles in a sitcom and a Broadway musical by the name Raisin. |

The performance earned him the Tony award for the Best Supporting Actor. This success earned him roles in other Broadways and off-Broadways. Another success is the release of a small hit record called the Extra Extra in 1975.In this he sang tenor and played banjo. During this time he is known to have written various emotional songs. Another album on his credit at the same period was under the title; when you’re Young and In Love which scored high on the local charts.
Ralph Carter is known to have on and off relationships although no serious love life on record. His childhood successes didn’t blossom on attaining adulthood and so he didn’t appear on plays any more. His social life is not well known.
His climax in public appearances culminated in the year two thousand and six when he appeared at the BET Awards in a childhood reunion with his former Good Times group members. Ralph Carter currently lives in N.Y City.
